Based in the UK, near Southampton We are seeking a Senior Control and Instrumentation Engineer to join our team developing process control systems for use with our equipment in the pharmaceutical industry. The scope of this position covers all aspects of control systems engineering from requirement specification through design, test and commissioning and may involve some travel both in the UK and overseas.
The successful candidates will have a proven background in control systems-related hardware and software design in similar process control industries. Experience with Allen Bradley SLC and Control Logix and Siemens S7 PLCs as well as PC-based SCADA software is essential and a good working knowledge of standard software products is assumed. Working knowledge of iFIX SCADA, VB and MS SQL will be considered an advantage.
Applicants should possess a relevant qualification in a control engineering-related discipline to a minimum of HNC level although suitable relevant experience will also be considered.
