The nearest airport to Hürth is Cologne/Bonn Airport with a driving distance of about 30 min.

Also Düsseldorf Airport can be considered with a driving distance to GEA Lyophil of about 45 to 60 min.

As an alternative Frankfurt airport is also suitable because there is a very fast train connection (about 54 min) to Cologne central station.

From the North: (from direction Dortmund motorway A1)

  • Take the motorway A1 direction Köln/Koblenz.
  • Pass junction Köln Nord. At junction Köln West take motorway A4 direction Olpe/Bonn.
  • Leave motorway A4 at exit Hürth/Köln Klettenberg (exit 11). At the traffic light turn left into Luxemburger Straße (B265) direction Schleiden/Brühl/Hürth-Knapsack.
  • You pass a gas station that is located on the right side. After about 100 m turn left into Kalscheurener Straße (there is a Lidl supermarket to the right at the crossing).
  • Follow Kalscheurener Straße about 800 m and drive through the road constriction. After approximately 200 m you will find GEA Lyophil to the right.

From the West: (from direction Aachen motorway A4)

  • Take the motorway A4 direction Köln/Olpe.
  • Pass junction Köln West. Leave motorway A4 at exit Hürth/Köln Klettenberg (exit 11).
  • At the traffic light turn left into Luxemburger Straße (B265) direction Schleiden/Brühl/Hürth-Knapsack.
  • You pass a gas station that is located on the right side. After about 100 m turn left into Kalscheurener Straße (there is a Lidl supermarket to the right at the crossing).

From the East: (from direction Arnheim/Oberhausen motorway A3)

  • Take the motorway A4 direction Köln/Aachen.
  • Leave motorway A4 at exit Hürth/Köln Klettenberg (exit 11).

  • At the traffic light turn left into Luxemburger Straße direction Schleiden/Brühl/Hürth-Knapsack.
  • Follow this street until you pass a “McDonald’s” on the right side. After approx. 400 m at the second traffic light turn left into “Gewerbegebiet Nord-Ost.
  • At the roundabout take the third exit into Max-Planck Straße.
  • At the next roundabout take the third exit into Kalscheurener Straße. After approx. 300 m to the left you will find GEA Lyophil.
