The High Shear Mixer/Granulator is a multi-purpose processor equally suitable for high speed dispersion of dry powders, aqueous or solvent granulations, effervescent products and melt pelletization.

User-selected process options, cleaning equipment, control systems and PAT technologies combine in a system to meet process requirements exactly. | The PHB300 NIR Pilot Scale Blender uses Near-Infrared to measure actual powder conditions inside the IBC as it is blended. Ingredient movement can be monitored on-line, as the blending occurs; this real-time data allows increased understanding of powder behaviour. An additional benefit of this analytical technology is that the behaviour of all the ingredients within the IBC can be accurately monitored, where as traditionally the focus has been on the Active ingredientonly. Because the powder blend is known, then the number of samples that need to be taken is dramatically reduced. The result is better understanding of formulation behaviour and enhanced process control. With opportunity to fast-track the validation of the blending process, the time to market for new products can be reduced. |

MODUL™ Tablet Press ECM & WOL The ECM Concept |

The ECM or Exchangeable Compression Module is a closed box, which:
- contains all product contact parts,
- contains all format parts,
- is isolated from the remainder of the machine.
The ECM is very easy and fast to remove from and re-insert into the machine. All components are exchanged together as one unit. The inside of the press remains clean and contamination free. So, there is no need to clean the inside of the machine. While the removed ECM is being cleaned off-line, production on the MODUL™ is resumed immediately with another ECM. This way, you gain several hours of production time.
Moreover, thanks to the ECM concept, the MODUL™ offers a much higher operator protection level than any other tablet press with an exchangeable turret, where the contaminated turret is removed from the press without any enclosure. Even toxic products can be processed with the appropriate type of ECM, eliminating the need for expensive and impractical isolators.

The ULTIMAGRAL™ is the new high shear mixer granulator range that builds on the proven 'Gral' and its benefits. Same design of process bowl, mixer and chopper make sure that process and validation wise there is no difference to the Collette Gral. This unique design of process bowl, mixer and chopper makes the ULTIMAGRAL™ not only a perfect wet granulator but also an ideal machine for melt granulation and pelletizing.
The MICROGRAL™ is a table top unit with a batch capacity between 100 and 700 g, ideal for formulation development, formulation assurance, process consistency and academic educational purposes for granulation and pelletization applications.
It is equipped with an excellent process control system, including torque and temperature measurement and data logging. Two sizes of bowl (1 and 4-L) are available.
