Now serious savings in the production cost of a tablet become reality. Where in the past tablet presses were out of operation for 4 to 8 hours for cleaning (manual or WIP) between product
change-over, Courtoy's Exchangeable Compression Module allows full change-over in less than 1 to 2 hours. All product contact parts are included in an isolated dust-tight module, which
is disconnected and removed in minutes. Another clean isolated module with the right tooling is now ready for use. Just connect it up and you are up and running again.   • Dual control principle - the controls dilemma facing the pharmaceutical compression industry since its infancy has been resolved by Courtoy’s engineers. Like all great solutions, the answer is amazingly simple: physically separate the two control loops to work on separate areas of the press. Weight is controlled at pre-compression and hardness is controlled at main compression. As a result, weight and hardness can be controlled simultaneously and continuously on a standard tablet press. The dual weight/hardness control principle is integrated in the Multi-Control 4 (MC4) and is available as an optional feature on the MODUL™ rotary tablet press.
